Stuff This Show

My first series of Plush toys, "The ladies", were invited to be part of a collective toy exhibition at the Rivet Gallery in Columbus Ohio, USA. Here are some pictures of the opening show, which was last saturday. Thank you so much to laura for inviting me!!

Finally pictures of the display. There was a mistake and my illustration was place on the wrong location for a couple of weeks. From today its in an illuminated display at Leicester Square Station. Central Concourse of the Northern Line Platforms (which means as you get into the station, go northern line direction and as soon as the stairs finish, walk till the end of the corridor and you will find it. Go and check it out!!!! :-)

BT Digital Music Awards 2008

I was asked to pitch to direct and design the graphics for the BT Digital Music Awards 2008. I didnt get the job at the end but i am very pleased with the idea i ve proposed. Here is the storyboard for the opening sequence. The brief was to communicate the evolution of BT's broadband offering, and how, thanks to that evolution therefore more people having access to the internet, the awards were becoming bigger every year.

Meta4orce

Finally, Meta4orce was aired yesterday on BBC 2!!! This is the series i was working on for the last month. We did 4 episodes to be aired every saturday at 2 pm. Watch it because it s sooo good! I am so proud to be part of it! A very enlightening experience as an animator.

Capiusa Design Festival

As i said on a previous post, i was invited to be a part of the judging panel on the 2nd edition of the Capiusa Design festival. The experience was amazing. So many great works and a very difficult decision to make! I ve been invited as well, to give a lecture to design students. To speak about my experience as an animator in Europe. I was so nervous at the beginning! But everything went great. I would like to thank one a million times Alvaro Sanchez, Oscar "El Chango" and all the Capiusa Team for their invitation and hospitality. And to All Guatemala for on the most intense experiences of my whole life.

II Design Festival Capiusa (Guatemala)
